Introduction to the Kingdom Shifts by Paul Khoo (Basecamp Series 1-1)

In this “season of reset” we have experienced a wonderful and fearful confusion as to what it is the Lord would have us learn. Everything has changed and yet nothing has changed. It has been a tremendous stretching time for everyone. This was further complicated by health issues. The physical pain however was nothing compared with the inner turmoil of seeing people unchurched due to the pandemic. It was never a doubt in my mind that Covid would lapse. And that there would be a time to “return to worship and hear His word”. The interim months gave us time to rewire up the sanctuary. The use of technology was a silver lining. We now broadcast “live” to constituencies under our ministry umbrella both on and off Zoom. Somewhere along those long months of isolation, we welcomed the Elijah fathers and sons who required meeting space for their weekly leadership gatherings of the lion, ox, eagle and man. Through this interaction with prophetic initiatives to live godly lives and pass it on, it is now clear that “everything has changed and yet nothing has changed”. What has changed I have detailed briefly below. What has not changed are the plans God in heaven has for us. These remain indelibly etched on the palm of His hands. (1.) It is a Generational Shift - we are to enforce heavenly perspectives as He transfers these Kingdom Shifts into new wineskins (and mindskins), changing our appetite for all things "local" to all things "Kingdom" and, as we make them operational in practice by empowering our young people so they can "go and do likewise". (2.) It is a Corporate Shift - analogous to spiritual orthodontics, the straightening of the whole mouth and not just one or two teeth, beginning with the leadership presently in the hands of the millennials, setting the whole house in order and not just specific key individuals. (3.)
