Macy's BalloonFest Features Giant-Sized Skylanders Eruptor, Thomas the Tank Engine, and More

On November 8th, Macy's annual BalloonFest took place at CitiField in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York. Attending crowds got to check out the newest character balloons, which will premiere at the 88th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27th. The new balloons include Skylanders Eruptor, which has a paint job that includes more than 40 gallons of fluorescent paint to re-create the video game character's smoldering physique, Mattel's Thomas the Tank Engine, the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, and more. We got to check out the balloons during both set-up and the grand unveiling, and also got to watch as dozens of volunteers helped guide them around for their test-flight.
