
Homemade Granola with Sourdough Discard | Never buy granola again
This sourdough homemade granola is so easy to make! Itβs just sourdough discard, honey, vanilla, avocado oil, oats, almonds, pumpkins seeds, along with some salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread onto your baking sheet and bake at 325 for about 30 mins. Allow to cool and then add dried fruit and chocolate chips. Ingredients: 1/3 cup (50g) sourdough discard 1/4 cup raw honey 1/8 cup coconut oil or avocado oil 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup of rolled oats 1 cup of nuts & seeds (I used pumpkin seeds and almonds) 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup dried fruit or chocolate chips ADD AFTER BAKING (I used both dried cherries and chocolate chips) Directions: Preheat your oven to 325 F Mix together your wet ingredients and then add your dry ingredients On a baking sheet spread the mixture very thin Bake for about 30 minutes or until the edges start to brown (Make sure to check it frequently it can burn fast) Cool for about 10-15 minutes on the counter.
