Thousands of supporters of Beijing Games & supporters of Tibet gathered at Justin Herman Plaza, where the Olympic Torch closing ceremony was originally scheduled to take place. Over the big screen the images of the first torchbearer, Ling Li, an Olympic swimmer, takes off from McCovey Cove as planned, but then disappears into a Pier warehouse...
