27th Sunday in OT / 27. navadna / 27. nedjelja kroz godinu Hrvatski: Koliko je vjere dovoljno vjere? U očajnim vremenima, vjera u proroka Baruha je stavljena na kušnju. U tim teškim trenucima se nije izolirao od Boga, nego ga je još gorljivije tražio. Bog ga uvjerava da onaj tko je pun sebe nikad nije stabilan. Upravo se to dogodilo Izraelu u pustinji, kad su otvrdnuli srce umjesto da vjeruje Bogu koji je odnedavno uvjerljivo dokazao svoju vjernost. Slično tome i apostol Pavao puše na dušu biskupa Timoteja da ponovno zaplamti dar Duha Svetoga kojeg je primio polaganjem Pavlovih ruku. Apostoli traže od Isusa da umnoži pouzdanje u njihovim srca kao što je umnožio kruh i ribe (Luka 9,17). Isus nema kvantitativnu logiku, traži sjeme povjerenja u njega, koji je u mogućnosti iskorijeniti sav ponos koji se širi - poput raka - po cijelom umu. Čest izgovor je: nemam dovoljno vjere. Povjerenje u Isusa je poput otrova zmije, kap je dovoljna da se proširi po svim venama ponosa i uništi ga.
