Fourth Sunday of Advent & Christmas Cantata| December 22nd | 10am | Liturgy of Holy Eucharist
Welcome to Lutheran Church of the Master for the Fourth Sunday of Advent & Christmas Cantata! Cradle and cross are inextricably connected on the fourth Sunday of Advent. Between a lovely tribute to the little town of Bethlehem and Mary’s magnificent song of praise, the letter to the Hebrews reminds us in no uncertain terms that Christ’s advent is for “the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” It is the kind of tension in which the church always lives as when in holy communion—with high delight—“we proclaim the Lord’s death.” I hope you have had the opportunity to download the resources for this Season of Advent to prepare your at-home worship spaces or for worship in the building. For worship today, I invite you to please download and open the worship guide to fully participate as you, too, are a vital participant in today’s liturgy. Peace & Blessings Dear Church ~ Pastor Dave Fourth Sunday of Advent & Christmas Cantata Worship Guide, Prayer Requests & Virtual Pew Card, and Donations can all be made or found here: https://linktr.ee/LCotM For our liturgy today, please give your thanks to all of our worship contributors which includes you!
