Materials: 2x6x8 (x5) 1x4x8 (x2) 1.25" & 2" screws 1.5" brad nails (or 1.25") Wood Glue Tools used in this video K4 Kreg Jig: https://amzn.to/3oq5fbt Bostitech nail gun: https://amzn.to/2KW64uT Dewalt miter saw: https://amzn.to/39oR2Y7 Jorgensen clamps: https://amzn.to/3j3FEnO Figure 8 fasteners: https://amzn.to/2KWtZKH HomeRight Paint Sprayer: https://amzn.to/2Mw81ii Freud forstner bit: https://amzn.to/2YnWMen Doweling jig: https://amzn.to/3aAg2v1 Festool parallel edge router guide: https://amzn.to/39tpsJo Cut list: TOP: Cut 3 of the 2x6x8s to 51.5" (I ripped the sides of each for square them up) LONG APRON: Use 2 of the remaining pieces from the top to cut the long apron - crosscut at 43.75" and then rip them to 2.5" (you will get 4 apron pieces out of this) SHORT APRON: Use the 3rd remaining extra piece from the legs rip this to 2.5", then crosscut to 10.5" (x4) LEGS: Take a new 2x6 and crosscut two 36" sections (72" overall + the blade width). Rip each section to 2.5" (take the rounded edges off too) - you will get 4 legs from this (you'll have ~24" left over - this can be used for a different project). DIAGONALS: Take a new 2x6x8 and crosscut to ~32" (or longer). Rip this piece into strips 1" wide. You'll only get 4 (possibly 5) strips out of this due to the blade width, so you'll have to crosscut another 32" section and repeat. You want 6 strips here. SHELF SLATS: I ripped the round edges off a 1x4x8 firring strip, and crosscut them to 11.5" long. ***Make your own measurement here - if you used a router for a shelf in the bottom apron, your measurement will be slightly different than mine. If you're just putting the slats on top of the bottom apron, you're measurement will be ~3"ish longer than mine. SIDE POCKET HOLE HIDING BOARDS - Use any piece of scrap to cut to the dimension to overlap this piece. I used valspar antique white painted with a Homeright Super Finish Max paint sprayer, with Minwax Special Walnut stain for the top, sealed with Minwax gloss polyurethane and then wipe on gloss polyurethane. Filmed with a GoPro Hero 6 Black, edited in iMovie. Thanks for watching! Be sure to subscribe for more upcoming videos and free plans!
