The 90-Second Rule for controlling emotions: Science-based Protocol
In this video I explain the 90-second rule for controlling emotions which comes from Harvard-trained neuroscientist Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor. She explains that the actual chemical reaction in the brain, blood, and nervous system associated with an emotional reaction will only last about 90 seconds. Of course if we bring our attention back to the thought or trigger and restimulate the reaction then the loop will continue. But if we can just bring out attention to it it will dissipate rather quickly. Articles - StudyHappiness.blog Research - StudyHappiness.notion.site Vides - @JacksonKerchis
