For the past four years I've been using arborist woodchips on our property in multiple ways. Preventing weeds from growing. Plants that volunteer or self grow in woodchips. I've been using wood chips the normal recommended way as a soil cover or mulch. Now I know; based on personal experience, that some plants can grow directly in straight woodchips. Regenerating soil and building soil. #woodchips #compost #buildingsoil
