Kopernik Friday Night Livestream: International Observe the Moon Night Presented by Jeremy Cartie, Kopernik Educator Date/Time: Friday, October 20th @ 8:00PM EDT Bring the whole family to Kopernik for an international celebration of the Moon! See the latest images from visiting spacecraft and learn about NASA’s return to the Moon through the Artemis Program. If clear, view a nearly first quarter Moon through the observatory’s telescopes, along with other celestial objects. Families will make Moon craters and engage in other lunar-related activities. We are excited to offer this program both online and in-person. For those that can visit us on-site, doors open at 7:00pm for family activities and the presentation begins at 8:00pm. If the skies are clear, our domes will be open for you to view the night skies through Kopernik’s telescopes both before and after the program. For our online viewers, we will stream live views of the Moon leading up to our 8pm presentation. Subscribe for future programs and observing sessions!
