Spearfishing in Marathon, FL in July 2012. Shot 6 hogs with the new gun we built on its first trip. 2 days, 5 hours each day with Capt. Kevin Johnsen from Florida Keys Reel Adventures. Seas: 0-2 ft. Depth: 15-35 ft. Water temp: high 70s. Fish shot in the video: 4 hogfish, 1 black grouper, 2 mangroves, 3 cero mackerel, 2 sheepshead, 1 grey triggerfish, Fish stabbed in the video: barracuda. Total catch: 19 hogs, 11 mangroves, 1 red grouper, 2 porgies, 3 cero, 1 trigger, 1 cuda, 1 lionfish, 2 sheepshead, 1 schoolmaster. Guns used: Custom 40" rear handle, Mako 120 oceanic pro ETR with reel, Mako 100 predator pro with reel, Mako 100 predator pro, Rob Allen 120 and a 6 ft fiberglass pole spear with sea stinger tip. Cameras used: Gopro hero 2 with Gopro underwater housing, Gopro hero with underwater housing, Gopro hero with Mako flat lens.
