REACTION/REVIEW #67: PARABLE OF THE TALENTS by Octavia E. Butler, non-spoiler.

This book broke my heart yet left me with hope. Butler's writing is fantastic and her insights into human nature are enlightening. Check out the Earth Seed Duology. If you've only read the first book, Parable of the Sower, you definitely want to continue.
