I have gotten some feedback in the comments section of the Dream Farm series regarding the use of coatings on the seeds we have been planting from Whitetail Institute. Coatings are nothing new in the farming community, but it seems that some food plot planters don't understand what they do and see them as bag fillers. Whether they are worth the extra expense that you pay to have coated seeds is up to you to determine, but the coatings do serve a purpose.
