39th Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols

Westminster College and America's National Churchill Museum celebrate the 39th Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols in person and via livestream at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2021, in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury. This beloved, time-honored Lessons and Carols event is patterned after the original Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at King’s College, University of Cambridge, England. The program includes the reading of nine biblical scriptures that pertain to the Christmas story. Holiday carols were performed by Westminster’s choral ensemble, the Churchill Singers, directed by Associate Professor of Music Dr. Natasia Sexton and accompanied by musician Gretchen Huedepohl.
