On October 17, 1989, the San Francisco Bay Area experienced a major eathquake at 5:04PM. The epicenter was some 80-90 miles south of the bay area in the Santa Cruz mountains. This video includes actual footage from the bay area's late night news coverage from KGO channel 7 and Newscenter 4.
