Cinema Insomnia presents The First Spaceship on Venus

Cinema Insomnia presents The First Spaceship on Venus

In the amazing future of 1980, a cosmic spool was discovered in debris from the Tunguska meteor blast of 1908. In addition to a collection of smooth jazz hits, this magnetic spool contains recordings of a spacecraft from Venus that crashed there. After failed attempts to contact the now silent planet, an international team sets out in their spaceship to solve the mystery which, in spite of the title, won't really be the first spaceship on Venus since the Venusians have had interstellar travel since 1908. Your commander Mr. Lobo always confuses this one with Voyage to a Prehistoric Planet, so it is not clear why his host segments for both features at the same time, setting himself up for further confusion and embarrassment as he frequently seems to be forgetting which of the two films he is bumping in or out of. Robot 7D4 and Miss Mittens are his crew in this odd TV hosting experiment from Cinema Insomnia. See new episodes of Cinema Insomnia on Roku Channel OSI-74.
