My adenium plant has developed flower bud!

Unfortunately the adenium flower bud has fallen off without opening! Maybe it takes some more time for getting flower! Adenium, also known as desert rose is a flowering plant with different varieties having different types of flowers. This plant was brought from a local nursery as a tiny plant and has been growing in a garden pot for a few months now. They say that it needs a lot of sunlight and a little bit of water, being a 'desert rose'. I had to prune this plant some time back because all the leaves were damaged. It has been mentioned that pruning in sunny weather promotes flowering. I am not sure whether it is because of pruning that this plant has developed a flower bud. Anyway I am quite happy to see the flower bud developing. Hoping to post the video of adenium flowers soon.
