This verse gets to the heart of the Gospel: Jesus Christ has rescued you from the darkness of sin and made you a child of the light! Christ has died for you. Christ has risen for you. Even now, in His Word Christ claims you as His own. Therefore, be who you are! Shine with the light of Christ that has filled your life.
