The Disastrous exploding Whale of Florence, Oregon - Original News Broadcast
Back in November 1970 a historic moment took place in the beautiful state of Oregon, the not so beautiful exploding whale incident. When a 45 ft eight ton whale washing up on shore and starts to decay the Oregon highway division figured the only way to discard of the remnants is to blow it up. It didn't really solve the problem as you can see.
