U2 Bad Tribute Live Aid 1985

I'd been fascinated with the Live Aid performance of this song for decades and always dreamed of being able to reproduce it to the best of my ability. That wasn't cheaply possible for the longest time, but now you can do it on a Mac for free! I took the following steps to make this little project a reality: Downloaded some nasty sounding midi files for the background sequencer loops. Tweaked the patches so they sounded like the ones used at Live Aid. Rented a Fender Stratocaster. Researched the exact amp and stomp-box settings to use for the sound used by The Edge. Worked out how to play the guitar part by listening. Programmed the drums. Programmed the bass. Recorded the vocal...and voila!
