Playlist for all Land Rover Restoration videos: • Classic Land Rover Restoration Series I start where we left off in part one, BIG PROBLEMS WITH MY LAND ROVER SERIES 2A ENGINE : • BIG ENGINE PROBLEMS WITH MY LAND ROVER SER... And I do a series of tests to figure out where we stand with this engine, and it does not look too good. Last time we couldn't get the ignition key to send a signal to the solenoid so we wasn't able to test the starter motor or do a "proper" compression test. My goal this week was to complete the mission I started out on the week before. On a 7:1 engine the book says 145psi, I'm not sure we are quite there yet with this engine but I am aiming to get it over a 100psi in the end. OPTIMIST! This is the second of what I can only guess to be one of many videos on the Engine and on how I try to get this 200kg paperweight to run. The goal is to have it running before the summer. It will be a nice DIY series for you hobby mechanics out there and a fun watch for you more experienced ones. I will do my best to make it interesting and enjoyable to watch. Enjoy this Classic Car Restoration Project and I hope you will follow along the Series 2a Land Rover build.
