The event came hours after a fiery presidential debate in Philadelphia. Trump and Harris shook hands before lining up for the ceremony. Trump was accompanied by his running mate JD Vance, while US President Joe Biden accompanied Harris. Biden and Harris visited each of the three attacked sites together. On September 11, 2001, Al-Qaeda terror attacks killed almost 3,000 people.
