Follow these steps when you open up the blender file to reconnect the textures for the avatar if you having issues: Go to 'File - External Data - Find missing files' (Top Left) then look for the Avatars textures in the 'Texture' Folder, once you are in the folder press 'Find Missing Files' on the bottom of the menu and everything should be synced.
