#GodFirst, #CommitmentInFaith, #RebuildingTheTemple, #PraiseTheLord, #LivingForChrist Making God Our First Priority | Divine Guidance - Thursday, September 25, 2025 Our Mass Readings for today: Thursday, September 25, 2025 Thursday of the Twenty-fifth Week in Ordinary Time Reading 1: Haggai 1:1–8 Resp: Psalm 149:1b–2, 3–4, 5–6a and 9b Gospel: Luke 9:7–9 Making God Our First Priority Today’s reflection reminds us that God must hold the first place in our lives. Haggai challenges us to rebuild God’s house before our own, the psalm calls us to rejoice in Him above all else, and the Gospel warns us through Herod’s example against shallow curiosity. When God is truly first, our lives gain meaning, direction, and joy that no earthly pursuit can provide. === Thursday, September 25, 2025 - The Divine Guidance: Making God Our First Priority Reflection: Do I truly place God first in my daily life, or do I allow personal concerns to push Him aside? Prayer: Lord God, You are the foundation and center of our lives. Forgive us when we become consumed with our own concerns and neglect to honor You first. Stir our hearts, as You did through the prophet Haggai, to rebuild what is broken in our lives and to make You our greatest priority. May our praise rise like the psalmist’s song, and may our hearts seek You with commitment rather than curiosity. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. === Disclaimer: This video contains original reflections and commentary on the Catholic daily readings, produced by The Word Today TV.
