12/22/24 A Transformative Gift - Love

The Advent season is filled with symbols—lighted candles, festive decorations, and acts of kindness. But none is more profound than the love demonstrated in the birth of Jesus Christ. In 1 John 4:9-10, we read, “This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” This scripture captures the essence of God’s love: it is not earned or deserved; it is freely given. Today, we’ll explore the depth of God’s love, how it transforms us, and how we are called to reflect that love in the world.
