Snickerdoodles make a sweet object lesson! Ms. Kariann shows how rolling plain cookie dough in cinnamon sugar transforms it—just like the “spice” (unique gifts) God places in each of us can bless others. Kids are invited to discover and share their God-given “seasoning”—music, teaching, leadership, kindness—and to thank God for both big and little gifts. It’s also Pastor Appreciation Month (and Pastor Jeremy’s birthday!), so the children present him with a basket of spices to celebrate how he “spices up” our church family. The moment ends with a prayer of gratitude and a reminder to use our gifts to share God’s love.
