Episode 1.06 - "Don't Cry, It's Over Now"
Haley and Dean talk about their past before finding a common ground. Their hearts. Dan talks to Keith and finally expresses how he feels about his friend sleeping with his wife. Dan tells Keith he's dead to him. Deb looks at the divorce papers, seeing Keith hasn't signed them. At Keith's car dealership, he's talking on the phone to a certain someone. (You'll see soon enough.) Nathan and Rachel find themselves having a chat, Nathan telling Rachel about what happened between him and Haley and telling her he's not sure what they are at that point. Rachel tells Nathan she has an idea of how to make Haley jealous and kisses his cheek. Sam confronts Brooke about how he feels about her and how he doesn't like to think that there will always be other guys with her. Brooke tells Sam that she's been hurt too much to give her heart fully to somebody else. Dan gets a visit from Karen after telling Karen he'll take her to court and take everything she has. Karen tells Dan to go ahead and try after Dan kisses her which soon results in Karen throwing a chair through his office window. Karen threatens him once again, "Next time, that'll be your face." Brooke tells Peyton their friendship is over and moves out of Peyton's house after Peyton tells Brooke she's in love with Lucas and kissed him in the library during the school shooting. Lucas and Peyton talk in the school library as Peyton tells Lucas how she feels and Lucas kisses her. Dean finds Haley and pulls her around the corner and kisses her. The two have a talk about how Dean has a surprise for her for missing her last birthday. Deb continues to drink but joins her drink this time with pills as Haley watches. Lucas finds Peyton at her house and they share a heartfelt hug after the news of Brooke and Peyton's fight gets out.
