The reflection in the mirror was that of a 50-year-old man with long hair. He had been using a filter to transform his face for his posts. 4. Caroline Calloway. Caroline gained nearly 800,000 followers on Instagram by using clever captions and the hashtag Adventuregrams. Her fame led to a $375,000 book deal to write her memoirs. After her friendship with Natalie Beach broke up, it was discovered, that the majority of Caroline's clever captions, were, Natalie's work, that Caroline's Memoirs were actually being written by Natalie, and that Caroline had bought 10s of thousands of followers to gain popularity in able to obtain her book deal. 5.
