Vehicle vs Bicyclist - Oakmead/Duane Ave at Lawrence Expressway, Sunnyvale CA - Copyright 2022

On Monday 4/11/22, at approximately 20:44 Hrs (8:44 PM PDT) Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety responded to the area of Lawrence Expressway at Oakmead/Duane Ave for reports of a vehicle vs pedestrian. A Falck Private company Ambulance was in the area when the incident occurred and stopped to provide aid. Sunnyvale Police and Fire quickly arrived on scene and started treating the patient. Santa Clara County EMS arrived shortly after Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety arrived on scene. Patient was packaged up and taken code 3 to a nearby Trauma center code 3 (Lights and Siren) The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and talked to police.
