Sixth Sunday of Easter, May 5, 2024, 11:00 A.M. Sunday Worship Service

Hello and thank you for joining us for worship today at Stony Creek United Methodist Church. If you have not joined us for worship before, you will find our services are pretty laid back, and we never want anyone to feel pressured in how they may choose to participate. Our faith community intentionally works to maintain a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space for ALL people. We hold tightly to the beliefs that all people are worthy of being, mercy, love, and grace. We also believe that you always know that God loves you, unconditionally. You are made in the image of God, and are therefore beautiful just the way you are. Today in worship, Pastor Michael will be sharing a message with us from our Easter sermon series, "Living in a Postresurrection World", titled, "True Friendship," utilizing our readings for today from John 15:9-17 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...) and Exodus 33:7-11 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/.... We will also be singing some songs, sharing in liturgy (it's all in the bulletin at the link below), and lifting some prayers.
