The actress felt the urge to address her 3.7 million followers on Instagram, and reminding her critics that she’s sick and tired of being targeted for some of the outfits she chooses to wear. She released a long self-described “rant” on Instagram, saying that she isn’t “trying” to be photographed at every minute, and wardrobe malfunctions happen… She says, “I’m not a stylist! I don’t know what to wear everyday so I look ‘appropriate’ or ‘fashionable.’ Also, screw having to always look appropriate or fashionable. For what? Society? Who gets to decide what is appropriate or fashionable?!” The message is pretty clear. Ariel is going to wear whatever she wants and feels comfortable in, and she’s appreciate it if she didn’t get as much attention or criticism for her wardrobe decisions.
