[구이임 PROJECT / GUIIM PROJECT] 국립국악고등학교 동문으로 만나 2020년 결성 된 정가, 가야금, 건반 및 미디어 사운드로 구성된 팀이다. 팀명은 음악적 방향성이 특정한 단어의 의미나 이미지에 국한되지 않도록 팀원들의 성을 따서 작명했다. 연주자 모두 주체가 되어 각자의 음악을 제시하고 이를 함께 타협하는 방식으로 작업한다. 형식에 얽매이지 않고 다양한 예술성을 수용하고자 노력한다. Established in 2020 by graduates of Gugak National High School, GUIIM PROJECT consists of jeogga, gayageum, keyboards, and media sound musicians. The team’s title was made by combining the members’ family names so that particular words’ meanings or images do not limit the group’s musical orientation. The group works in a way that every member can play a leading role, presenting their musical ideas and working on them together. The work draws on the metaphor of the sea to speak about aggravating agonies and transforming depressions.A desire to give up on everything after losing sense due to delusive hopes. Located in Eurwang-dong, Incheon, Eurwang-ri Beach boasts about a spectacular scenery thanks to its crescent-shaped white sand beach and pine trees and rocks surrounding it.
