$2,000 A MONTH stimulus proposal! Emergency Money for the People Act details

#$2000Stimulus #StimulusPackage #StimulusUpdate Will we get a $2000 stimulus check? Will we get a $2000 a month stimulus package? Will there be a new stimulus package? In this video I compare what we know about the proposed $2000 stimulus package and the $1200 stimulus check already enacted in the CARES Act. While the $1200 stimulus checks are being direct deposited and mailed, many are wondering if that will be enough, or if there will be another stimulus package. A new package called the "Emergency Money for the People Act" has been proposed in Congress. This package offers $2000 per month to anyone over 16 years old, plus $500 per dependent (up to 3 dependents), and college students could also qualify even if their parents claim them as a dependent. But is this a good idea, especially with mounting national debt levels, that no doubt will have a negative effect economically at some point? I try to at least offer an additional perspective to think about. I also offer a way to let your elected officials know how this quarantine has effected you.
