The game includes the expansion The Last of Us: Left Behind, a single-player story following Ellie and her best friend Riley. The Last of Us Part I was developed for PlayStation 5 by Naughty Dog, while the PC version is being developed by Iron Galaxy Studios and published by PlayStation PC, which was released on March 28, 2023.
