THE BORDER TOWN PICNIC MASS FOR THE 24th SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME AT THE BORDER TOWN PARISHES (SEPTEMBER 15, 2024) Fr. Pete Jankowski offers this Liturgy on location at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto at St. Patrick's Church (Momence, IL) on behalf of the parishioners of St. Patrick's Church (Momence) and the National Shrine of St. Anne (St. Anne) who are not able to attend services. Everyone is invited to our indoor liturgies at the border town parishes (we have plenty of room)! Reflecting on all the wonderful ministries that have taken place in the last five years at the parishes Fr. Pete serves, this weekend's homily celebrates the GROWTH that results in such kindness afforded our communities. The parish celebrates its third annual picnic Mass, a custom that was not celebrated at the grotto for decades (Masses were not celebrated at all at the grotto prior to 2000 up to Fr. Pete's arrival in 2020). So many good people were responsible for this growth - as well as you!
