Platinum Jubilee Blackpool Heritage Tram Parade - part two

Thursday 2nd June 2022 marked the start of a 4 day bank holiday in the United Kingdom to mark the Platinum Jubilee of HRH Queen Elizabeth the second. Events of all kinds to celebrate this were held all over the country and in Blackpool a 'Jubilee Tram Parade' was held which consisted of 13 tramcars from the surviving heritage fleet travel from Pleasure Beach up to Little Bispham. The trams featured are as follows: Boat 227 Boat 600 Railcoach 631 Railcoach 680 Centenary 648 Illuminated Western Train 733 and 734 Illuminated Trawler 737 Illuminated Frigate 736 Bolton Corporation 66 Balloon 717 Balloon 723 Balloon 700 Balloon 707 This is part two. UPDATE: sadly at the start of December 2024, it was announced that all of the heritage tram operations would cease running due to the 'challenges' of running heritage trams on a modern tramway.
