"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:" (1 Peter 5:6) Today, we will meditate on the promised Word. According to the above scripture, the Lord wants to exalt you. You may be in a down state. As you wait for him, he gives you new strength and gives you wings like eagles to soar. The people of the world extend their hands to the fingerprint experts to know the future with the belief that the future is in their hands. They show to the astrologers and soothsayers. "What is our future? Is it a good time? Can I get a job? Getting married? Are the families united?" They are asking for advice. Since he accepted the punishment for our sins, we do not have to suffer that punishment in our future. He has given us eternal life and eternal bliss. He made peace for us. He has written all our names in the book of life. His hand will guide us to the end! When we are in His hands, the world, the flesh, and the devil will never be able to overcome us. We cannot be defeated by sin. We are absolutely victorious. You look at him with love and say, 'Lord, I see your wounds. A life that is holy to me. Cover me with your holy hands, so that sin does not overtake me, and temptation does not overtake me." He will stretch out His hand for you and remember that the nails were cut. Beloved, behold the hand of him who called you. He won't leave you. Blessed be the God who gives you victory. You will be headless. You will not go down. Be in the Lord's strong hand. Surely He will raise you up in due time. His hand is still there for you.
