Little Mix ~ Touch ~ lyrics
Little Mix - Touch - lyrics #2 Glory Days (2017) “Touch”, although initially released as a promotional track back in November, is the second single release from Little Mix’s 4th studio album Glory Days. The song peaked at number four in the UK Singles Chart between the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017. It remained there for three consecutive weeks. Despite Perrie Edwards' outfit in the music video receiving a mixed reception over her choice of a nude corset with a shell suit and others taking to social media to comment on the racy dance moves the song and video was a huge success being nominated for British Single of the Year and Best British Video of the Year at the 2018 Brit Awards. Jade: We absolutely love this track and your reaction to it has been absolutely incredible so it’s a bit of a no-brainer and we knew it should be our next single. — via Apple Music Leigh-Anne: I feel like this was the moment people’s ears pricked up and were like, ‘Oh, is this Little Mix?’ and we gained a new fanbase from it. It was our cool moment, I think. And no matter if you didn’t even like Little Mix or if you weren’t a fan, you loved “Touch”. Just a really great moment for us. We did the video with Parris Goebel and the choreography was just epic. It’s also probably the most mature song that we’ve done. — via Apple Music Perrie: When we brought out “Touch,” we opened our fanbase so much bigger. Guys were listening to it on the radio thinking, “My God, this is a bop.” So many people got into Little Mix thinking, “This is sick, this is so cool.” Jade: I remember we were [promoting] “Shout Out to My Ex,” but we felt really strongly that “Touch” should have been the lead single when we went out to the U.S. for the Ariana Grande tour [for Dangerous Woman]. Also, the video actually wasn’t what we were hoping it was going to be. The [green-screened] backdrop stuff wasn’t what we thought it was going to be, and at first we were a little disheartened. And then we saw it, and it went viral, and were like “Oh! It is really good!” — via Billboard
