Royal relatives take part in Trooping of the Colour event
Trooping of the Colour annual event marks the official birthday of the Sovereign and was the first of King Charles’ reign with nearly all his royal relatives taking part in the celebration, says Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. “The ceremony involved more than 1400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians; where the horses and soldiers performed complex battlefield drill manoeuvres to military music,” she said.
