About Far Cry 6 Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It’s the sixth main game in the series and is available on Amazon Luna, Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The game was released on October 7, 2021. The story takes place on Yara, a fictional Caribbean island ruled by a dictator, "El Presidente" Antón Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito). Castillo is grooming his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) to take his place. You play as Dani Rojas, a local Yaran who becomes a guerrilla fighter to overthrow Castillo’s regime and bring freedom back to Yara. You can choose whether Dani is male or female at the start of the game.
