Just as Joshua took Canaan and gave it to the Israelites as an inheritance, Jesus is saying that He will give the new heaven and new earth, heaven, to the saints who have become righteous by faith so that they can live there forever (John 11:26). God judged the fallen world with water and gave the land to righteous Noah, who lived preaching righteousness (2 Peter 2:5) (Gen. 6:9 Noah was a righteous man, Hab. 2:4 The righteous (Heb. 6662, Greek 1342) will live by his faith, Gal. 3:11, Heb. 10:38). When interpreting the Bible, we must understand the content and grasp the sentences centered on Jesus, the object of our faith, so that the meaning of each word and sentence comes alive and the characters are analyzed and interpreted in Christ. Enoch and Noah, who lived as righteous men, walked with God (G2100 εὐαρεστέω to completely satisfy, Gen. 5:24; 6:0; Heb. 11:5 to please God) and became heirs of righteousness (Heb. 11:7).
