Cultivation 2025 - Tomato cultivation motto & sowing 140 varieties

The tomatoes are finally starting. This also means that I'm presenting you with my growing motto for this year. It is: "Tomatoes with a Story." I've sifted through my entire collection and selected varieties with an interesting history. Of approximately 450 varieties, 250 made the final selection. What are the stories behind the varieties? First, I've selected varieties with an interesting history of origin, varieties with a story about the breeder. Then there are varieties with unusual names. How did they get their names? Have the varieties had a long journey? Is there a story behind their origins? There are also many historical varieties. I think it's an exciting motto. When introducing the varieties, I can then draw on a wealth of resources and tell a little story about almost every variety. This way, even ordinary red, round tomatoes become something special.
