Here’s a simple and flavorful beef foot recipe (also known as beef trotters or paya) that you can try: Ingredients: • 1 kg beef feet (paya), cleaned thoroughly • 2 large onions, finely sliced • 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped or pureed • 1 cup plain yogurt • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste • 1 tablespoon red chili powder • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder • 1 teaspoon cumin powder • 1 teaspoon coriander powder • Salt to taste • 2-3 whole green chilies • 1/2 cup oil or ghee • 1 teaspoon garam masala • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish) • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving) For the broth: • 6-8 cups water • 2 bay leaves • 1 cinnamon stick • 3-4 cloves • 2-3 cardamom pods Instructions: 1. Clean the Beef Feet: Wash the beef feet thoroughly with water and a little vinegar or salt to remove any odor. Rinse well. 2. Cook the Broth: • In a large pot, add the cleaned beef feet, water, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves, and cardamom pods. • Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 4-5 hours (or pressure cook for 1.5-2 hours) until the meat is tender and gelatinous. • Skim off any foam or impurities that float to the surface during cooking. 3. Prepare the Masala: • In a separate pot, heat oil or ghee and sauté the onions until golden brown. • Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. • Stir in the tomatoes, yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala. 4. Combine: • Add the cooked beef feet along with the broth into the masala. • Simmer the mixture on low heat for another 30-40 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. 5. Final Touch: • Stir in garam masala and whole green chilies. Adjust seasoning if needed. • Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes. 6. Garnish and Serve: • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice. Enjoy your rich, flavorful, and hearty beef foot dish! #BeefFootRecipe #PayaRecipe #HomemadePaya #TraditionalRecipe #ComfortFood #FlavorfulDishes #BeefTrotters #PakistaniFood #IndianCuisine #AuthenticTaste #EasyCooking #RecipeOfTheDay #CookingAtHome #FoodLovers #FoodBloggers #Foodstagram #DinnerIdeas #SoulFood #WinterSpecial #DeliciousMeals #FoodieLife #YummyFood #CookingTips #QuickRecipes #homemadedelight
