Thinking Biblically Session 6 - October 26, 2025

The Protestant Reformation in the early 1500s was a defining moment in church history. It was not about creating a new movement, but a call for the church to return to the authority of Scripture and the purity of the gospel. Our reflection tonight reminds us that Reformation is not just a historical event to remember. It is a present call for the church to continually align itself to God’s Word. In our 6th Thinking Biblically, we were challenged to embrace a kind of reformation that goes beyond labels, debates, or theological pride. True biblical Reformation produces faithfulness to Scripture, Christlike humility, and unity that does not compromise truth. Being “Reformed” is not about claiming a title or joining a theological camp. It is about exalting Christ, submitting to Scripture as our final authority, and living out our convictions with grace, love, and accountability within the body of Christ. May this session stir our hearts to pursue discernment, gospel-centered unity, and a life continually shaped by God’s Word, all for the glory of God alone.
