Woman Accused of DUI and Hit-and-Run Refuses to Cooperate With Police

Late at night, deputies received several calls reporting a vehicle driving recklessly and swerving across lanes. Officers quickly located the car and conducted a traffic stop to investigate the situation. During the stop, the driver admitted to having a drink earlier in the night but denied doing anything wrong. However, witnesses reported that the vehicle had been driving dangerously and may have been involved in a hit-and-run crash. As deputies attempted to question the driver, the situation quickly escalated when she refused to cooperate and repeatedly argued with officers. What started as a routine traffic stop soon turned into a tense encounter that resulted in multiple charges.
