$750 Kawai HO scale hand built USRA heavy 2-8-2 brass Japan rare

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawai-HO-scal... In the early 1950's the late Bill Heitter of Manchester, Iowa; was in the Air Force and stationed in Japan during the Korean War. He had the Kawai Locomotive Works custom built this USRA Heavy 2-8-2 for him. The Kawai Locomotive Works was located on The Ginza in Japan and built many of the early imports for other manufacturers. The man who built this engine was noted as one of the great craftsmen of that time in Japan. This locomotive was hand built and that it runs like a dream, even with the original open frame motor is a great tribute to this mans craftsmanship. I have been advised that this locomotive; being custom built for Bill Heitter never appeared in any of Kawai's catalogs.
