Civil Engineers in Australia: MATES Work Visa For Indian Graduates #australia #workvisa
The MATES scheme, or the Mobility Arrangement for Talented Early Professionals Scheme, is part of a broader agreement between Australia and India aimed at strengthening their economic partnership and promoting cooperation. The scheme allows 3000 of India's top graduates and early career professionals in fields such as IT, artificial intelligence, mining, fintech, engineering, agritech, and green energy to work and stay in Australia for up to two years. Unlike skilled visas, applicants for the MATES scheme do not need to be sponsored by an employer. After the two-year period, they can apply for a temporary or permanent skilled worker's visa to extend their stay. Spouses of MATES scheme participants also have unlimited work rights. Other provisions of the agreement include allowing Indians who studied at an Australian tertiary institution to work in their field of study for up to eight years, issuing three-month visitor visas to Indians for family or business purposes, issuing business visas of up to five years for Australians visiting India, and creating five-year student visas for both countries. #MATESscheme #indianinaustralia #indianstudents #australia #AustraliaIndiaPartnership #australianpr #workinaustralia #jobsinaustralia #australiaeducation #WorkVisa #CareerOpportunities #skilledvisaaustralia #TalentMobility #InternationalEducation #modiinaustralia #pmmodispeech #GreenEnergyJobs #pmmodinews #TechProfessionals #SkilledWorkers #GlobalCooperation #indianstudents #pmmodi #narendramodi #pm #anthonyalbanese
