Then peel your potatoes and cut into smaller cubes. Begin boiling a pot of water and add salt to the water. Boil it until the potatoes are soft enough to be mashed. For the potatoes, in a small pot bring to a simmer the milk and butter and put a sprig of thyme in to enhance the flavor. Simmer for 3 minutes then take it off the heat and let it sit. In the meantime, begin cooking the onions on medium heat for about 3 minutes (can add some water if it is getting too browned) and then add in the beef, garlic powder, thyme, tomato paste, and worcestershire. Cook for 20 minutes (can add some broth if it needs it). Then add in the peas and carrots and cook for another 5 minutes. Then mash your potatoes and add the milk butter mixture and optional parmesan cheese, after taking out the thyme, to the potatoes (can add additional milk/butter if it needs it). Then put your meat mixture in an oven safe dish and put your potatoes on top evenly. Put in the oven at 400F for 20-30 minutes or until the top layer gets slightly golden brown. Then cool and serve! 💡 Whether you’re here for inspiration or looking for your next go-to recipe, you’ll find something delicious. 👉 Don’t forget to LIKE 👍, COMMENT 💬, and SUBSCRIBE 🔔 for more recipes every week!
