
Original Rice Krispie Treats with Secret Ingredient

Ingredients • Rice Krispy Cereal • Marshmallow Large or Mini • Butter • Sweet Condense Milk • Vanilla Extract • Cooking Spray Equipment • Rubber Spatula or Wooden Spoon • Large Pot • 8x9x2 or 9x13x2 inch baking pan Versions 8x6 Inch Pan • 3 cups of Rice Krispy • 20 Large Marshmallows or 4 cups of Mini Marshmallows • 3 Table Spoons of Unsalted Butter • 1/3 cup of Sweet Condense Milk • 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract or 9x13 Inch Pan • 6 cups of Rice Krispy • 40 Large Marshmallows or 5 & ½ cups of Mini Marshmallows • 6 Table Spoons of Unsalted Butter • 1/2 cup of Sweet Condense Milk • 1Tablespoons of Vanilla Extract Instructions 1. Place the butter in the large pot and melt over medium heat. Once the butter completely melts add the sweet condensed milk into the melted butter and stir for two minutes. Let the mixture boil for one minute until small bubbles form in the center of the mixture. 2. Add the Marshmallows into the mixture and stir until melted and smooth on low heat. 3. Add the vanilla extract to the marshmallow mixture and stir. 4. Remove the pot from the stove and slowly mix in the Rice Krispy until well combined. 5. Grease the baking pan with cooking spray or rub softened butter in the pan. 6. Add the cereal and marshmallow mixture into the pan and lightly press the cereal into the pan. Don’t press the Krispie too hard or they’ll lose their soft and gooey texture and become hard. 7. Allow Rice Krispy to rest for about 1 hour, then cut into enjoy.
