High Pressure Propagation A Fast and Effective Way to Grow Guava Trees
High-pressure propagation is a revolutionary technique for growing guava trees quickly and efficiently. This method, often referred to as air-layering, allows gardeners and farmers to propagate guava trees by inducing root growth directly on a healthy branch while it’s still attached to the parent plant. The process involves selecting a mature, healthy branch and making a small incision or girdle in the bark. The exposed area is then wrapped with moist sphagnum moss and covered with plastic or foil to maintain humidity. Over time, roots begin to develop at the incision site, and once established, the branch can be detached and planted as a new tree.
